The East Surrey Scout District is excitedly preparing for the upcoming Surrey Scoutabout 2024, a highly anticipated triennial event that brings together Scouts and Guides from across Surrey for a weekend of adventure, learning, and camaraderie. Scheduled to take place from June 28th to June 30th at the South East of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex, this event promises an unforgettable experience for all participants.

What is Scoutabout?

Scoutabout is a large-scale activity camp held every three years, featuring over 200 different activities tailored for Scouts and Guides aged between 10 and 14. The event draws approximately 6,000 young people and over 1,000 leaders, making it one of the most significant gatherings in the Surrey scouting calendar. Activities range from traditional scouting skills like abseiling and archery to creative and educational pursuits such as badge making and mocktail mixing.
